Our founder, Saub Kumar, is originally from India, which is known for being the biggest hub of buffalo leather tanneries in the world. He grew up learning the steel manufacturing business from his father before he moved to the US to pursue an engineering degree. His wife, Daisy Dallas Kumar, was pursuing her fashion and marketing degree at the same university where the couple met. Unbeknownst to him, her family had been in the leather industry for over 20 years. They recognized flaws in the current quality and availability issues that people are facing in the industry and decided to merge these two stories together to bring quality leather and hardware to their customers. Their number one priority is keeping the values of a family business. Saub’s family still lives and works in India where they oversee the manufacturing of all goods before they are shipped to Hidemen’s USA warehouse in Indiana where the couple lives. Saub manages all wholesale operations, while Daisy focuses on her retail brands that sell finished leather goods.
